Today, the Overwatch League has announced that all matches will be played online through the following month. This news comes after the announcement on Wednesday this week, stating that all Homestand Events in March and April were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These events will be played live on stream, and not set up in a LAN situation.
All teams will be participating in these games as well, both Atlatnic and Pacific. Among the teams, they will be divided into 3 separate groups by region, in order to comply with any and all latency and online connection issues..

Alongside this news also comes the postponement of the All Stars Weekend, as well as the cancellation of the Midseason Tournament. The All Star Weekend is being rescheduled for after the 2020 season. Hopefully, this improvement will help the players remain safe, as well as maintain an on course schedule for the rest of the season.
These matches will be live and streaming to YouTube, much like previous matches. These games will begin on March 21, next Saturday. The League is announcing a scheduled format for these games next week, so fans should keep their eyes locked on the Overwatch League twitter, as well as The Game Haus, for more information as this situation continues.
