Mel Mardada is finally making her to League of Legends. Her in-game model was leaked and while it was for TFT, it is close to what we will get on the Rift. She will be arriving with the new first season of “Welcome to Noxus“. With that, let’s take a look at the LoL Mel Medarda Abilities.

There is not much known about the LoL Mel Medarda Abilities so far. It sounds or is rumored at least that she will be a support mage of some kind for the bot lane. Potentially a healer but considering we have not seen her final evolution yet in Arcane Season 2, although that is not far behind either, there may be a lot more to learn about her.
We do know of her first ability, Rebuttal. This is the first full reflection ability in the game. When casted she will send any projectile back and the opponent that casted it. We do not know if this only happens for one projectile or many but the outplay potential is certainly interesting.

We want to be clear, there is nothing yet confirming that she is a champion. But for those who enjoy speculation since it looks like Mel will likely find her way to League and at least TFT, here is a look at the LoL Mel Medarda Release Date.
Based on the way Riot Games has been handling things, there is a real world where Mel Medarda comes out before the end of the year. It is unbelievably unlikely but to line things up with Arcane Season 2’s finally at the end of November we could get her announcement and then have her on the PBE the next patch.
Probably the more possible release date will be near the end of January. This will come with a new season and will be after the major year reveals and much more.
In a recent video and Tweet, @BigBadBear revealed that apparently the TFT team goofed and spoiled some major parts of the finale for Arcane Season 2.
LEAKED Viktor & Mel – Playable Models – TFT / League of Legends
The new models for both Viktor and Mel Medarda were revealed. Truthfully we do not know that they will for sure be in League of Legends. Obviously Viktor is already in the game and whether this will be his new model or just a skin is not yet known.
It is possible that for both of them that they will be just in TFT as well. There have been rumors that there are three new units coming to Set 13 even though it is already live. This would be an interesting release for the game that has committed to no new midsets like they used to have.
As for Mel, it is interesting. There have been rumors for awhile that she may be the next League of Legends champion. This would be a major surprise to many as there has not been any mention of Mel Medarda as a champion. They must have been keeping her under the strictest lock and key.
Even BigBadBear who normally is pretty reliable for leaks only mentions mages from Demacia and Targon. Unless Mel is secretly from those two places instead of Piltover or Noxus, it seems as though they decided to surprise us with a completely unannounced and unknown champion.
