After a quiet offseason from Packing10 and the LA Valiant, some roster news has finally escaped Valkatraz.
It's been quite a trek…

The team announced today they are signing Adam “Adam” Soong from Ground Zero Gaming in Australian Contenders. While he may have just turned 18, he has an outstanding resume. As part of Ground Zero Gaming and ORDER he won three Australian Contenders titles, finished second twice, and competed in the 2019 Pacific Showdown.
There was buzz around him going to the Valiant as soon as the Valiant announced they would not renew Caleb “McGravy” McGarvey’s contract. Not only would he complete an Australian Contenders tank duo with Dreamer, but he would be coached by one of his former teammates in LA Valiant’s Assistant Coach Max “Unter” Unterwurzacher. It is also a great day for Australian Overwatch. This makes him the second Australian Player in the Overwatch League, with Boston Uprising off-tank Leyton “Punk” Gilchrist. His addition marks a changing of the guard with the LA Valiant. During the entirety of OWL the Valiant have only had two off tanks play for this team, and Adam would be the third. This is his chance to prove that he is the best the team has ever had.
