2025 NFL Mock Draft October 2

Publish Date: October 2, 2024

College football is back, but it is never too early to look ahead. Here is the 2025 NFL Mock Draft October 2.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars- Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

The Jaguars also need to address the offensive line, but taking the best athlete in the class could help them on both sides of the ball. At the very least, he will help their pass defense.

2. Carolina Panthers- Jalen Milroe, QB Alabama Crimson Tide

Carolina will be in the market for a new quarterback this offseason. Milroe has really improved his stock this season, as he has been more efficient with his passing. His athleticism can really be an asset in the NFL as well.

3. Tennessee Titans- Teitairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

The Titans could take a quarterback, but could also use offensive line help and an elite outside target. McMillan is a bigger receiver that also has nice speed. He can be a matchup problem for most NFL corners with his size.

4. New England Patriots- Kelvin Banks, OT, Texas

New England isn’t starting Drake Maye yet and they need to get him an offensive line to make sure he is protected. Banks can man the left tackle spot as a player that can mirror pass rushers.

5. New York Giants- Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

If the Giants are selecting this highly again, they need to take a quarterback. Sanders has good anticipation and accuracy, all while not playing behind the most talented offensive line.

6. Cleveland Browns- Cam Ward, QB, Miami

The Browns could go with offensive line help, but they also need a quarterback. Ward can do damage with his legs and his arm. He has shown improved decision-making, but can continue to improve in that area.

7. Miami Dolphins- Will Campbell, OT, LSU

Miami hasn’t had a quality offensive line over the last few years. They need to keep Tua Tagovailoa healthy, Campbell is a good pass protector and can take over for Terron Armstead at left tackle.

8. Los Angeles Rams- Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

The Rams have not had good play out of their corners. Johnson is an aggressive corner with good athleticism.

9. Cincinnati Bengals- Mason Graham, DL, Michigan

Cincinnati really needs to improve their run defense. Kris Jenkins was selected last year, but more talent is needed on the defensive line.

10. Arizona Cardinals- Deone Walker, DL, Kentucky

Getting impact players on the defensive line will have to be a priority for the Cardinals this offseason. Walker moves extremely well for someone who is 6-foot-6 and 346 pounds.

11. Denver Broncos- Luther Burden, WR, Missouri

Bo Nix has had some ups and downs in his young career, but needs a top-tier receiver to help open the offense up. Burden runs good routes and runs after the catch well.

12. Las Vegas Raiders- Carson Beck, QB, Georgia

Las Vegas needs to find a quarterback of the future. Beck hasn’t looked quite as good this season as he did at the end of last season, but he seems to be progressing after a big second half against Alabama.

13. Indianapolis Colts- Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame

The Colts have had injuries in their secondary, but either way they need to improve at corner. Morrison has athleticism and length to match up with good receivers.

14. New York Jets- Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

Haason Reddick likely won’t suit up for the Jets, which leaves a void at edge rusher. Carter is still learning the position after converting from linebacker, but he has great athleticism.

15. Chicago Bears- Emery Jones, OT, LSU

The Bears need to improve the offensive line to improve the running game and protect Caleb Williams. Jones can play right tackle or guard, but either way, he can improve the Bears’ offense.

16. Atlanta Falcons- Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas

Behind Drake London, the Falcons can get more weapons for the offense. Bond has unique speed and uses it well all over the field.

17. New Orleans Saints- Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan

New Orleans can improve in the middle of the defense. Grant is a big player who also moves pretty well.

18. Philadelphia Eagles- James Pearce, EDGE, Tennessee

The Eagles like to use their early picks on the trenches and Pearce can improve their pass rush, which hasn’t been as good as past years.

19. Green Bay Packers- Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina

Across from Jaire Alexander, the Packers need to improve. Revel is injured right now, but has good size and speed to go with it.

20. Dallas Cowboys- Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

The Cowboys need to get more offensive playmakers to go with CeeDee Lamb. Jeanty is on pace to break plenty of records at Boise State and has unique ability at the position.

21. Los Angeles Chargers- Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

Jim Harbaugh may take one of his former Michigan players. Loveland is the best tight end in the class and could give another weapon for the offense to use.

22. Baltimore Ravens- Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama

Baltimore has had to shuffle their offensive line a bit this season. Booker has played both tackle and guard, but likely fits on the inside for the Ravens.

23. San Francisco 49ers- Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

Getting more pressure on quarterbacks can be achieved by getting another good pass rusher across from Nick Bosa. Williams has been injured, but could prove worthy of a first round pick with a strong finish the the season.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers- Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State Buckeyes

Pittsburgh could take a quarterback if Justin Fields fades down the stretch, but they need receivers outside of George Pickens. Egbuka is a good route-runner who can get open in the short and intermediate parts of the field.

25. Washington Commanders- Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia

Washington’s offense has looked good with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. Their defense can improve and selecting Walker could give Dan Quinn some flexibility, as he has played linebacker and edge.

26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Buccaneers need to add to their pass rushing production next season. Scourton was a very productive pass rusher in 2023.

27. Houston Texans- Tyleik Williams, DL, Ohio State

Williams has been disruptive from the interior during his Ohio State career and Houston could benefit from taking that type of player.

28. Detroit Lions- Jonah Savaiinea, IOL, Arizona

Savaiinea could play tackle or guard at the next level. Detroit can improve at guard next season.

29. Buffalo Bills- Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State

The Bills have lost a lot from their secondary in the last few season and need to get reinforcements.

30. Seattle Seahawks- Harold Perkins, LB, LSU

Perkins is out for the season, but is an elite athlete. Mike McDonald could use better linebackers to improve his defense for next season.

31. Minnesota Vikings- Tacario Davis, CB, Arizona

Brian Flores is doing a great job with the defense in Minnesota and could use more help at corner with Stephon Gilmore being on a one-year deal.

32. Kansas City Chiefs- Aireonte Ersery, OT, Minnesota

The Chiefs have already had issues with their starting offensive tackles. Getting Ersery could solidify one of the tackle spots moving forward.
