Wild Rift Vayne is absolutely busted in patch 4.1b, standing as one of the best marksmen in the game. But as a rather versatile marksmen, there are various ways to build and therefore play the champion. To help players understand her build paths, here is a Wild Rift Vayne Guide, going over the best build, runes, and summoner spells.

Wild Rift Vayne Runes
- Lethal Tempo
- Hunter-Vampirism
- Hunter-Titan
- Nimbus Cloak
These runes go for long term scaling, as Vayne typically wants to optimize for the late game teamfights anyhow. In addition, Nimbus Cloak has insane utility on Vayne, especially when taken into account with Ghost. This combo makes for incredible mobility, allowing Vayne to weave around her enemies and kite them effectively.
Wild Rift Vayne Summoner Spells
- Flash
- Ghost
Flash Ghost is easily the best combo on Vayne. Exhaust is the next best alternative, which would replace Ghost, but Ghost’s utility on Vayne is too good to ignore. In addition, Exhaust has been nerfed quite often, since it’s so meta on every other ADC in the game. Therefore, its cooldown is longer than Ghost, whereas Ghost has like a 90 second cooldown.
The short cooldown on Ghost allows Vayne to pop the spell with little to no repercussion. even if it’s wasted, Vayne can use it again the next team fight or when she gets back to lane. In addition, the amount of utility she gains, especially in combination with Nimbus Cloak, is incredible, thereby making it a very good summoner spell to take.
Wild Rift Vayne skill order
Silver Bolts (2) > Tumble (1) > Condemn (3)
Even at level 1, take Silver Bolts (2) first. This is because Tumble deal surprisingly little damage, and players are much better off with the extra attack speed buff alongside damage output from Vayne’s second ability.
By taking this, alongside using Lethal Tempo, Vayne can rather effectively trade level 1 against most marksmen in the game. In addition, Silver Bolts helps Vayne clear waves much faster than Tumble, since Tumble has a long cooldown level 1 and is limited to Vayne’s mana pool. Silver bolts, on the otherhand, has a passive proc which allows Vayne to keep up with wave clear from early on — thereby contest the laning phase more effectively.
And since Vayne’s weakest stage of the game is her laning phase, covering up her weak points is super important to maximizing the pick.
Wild Rift Vayne Items
- Blade of the Ruined King
- Wit’s End
- Mercury’s Treads -> Stasis Enchant
- Phantom Dancer
- Solari Chargeblade
- Infinity Edge/Guardian Angel
The main objective for Vayne’s item build is to build as much attack speed as possible. She doesn’t need all that much base AD or critical hit, since her on hit damage from her second ability practically carries her DPS output.
Therefore, rush Blade of the Ruined King then a Wit’s End, resulting in a very fast attacking Vayne in the mid game. Phantom Dancer makes for a great third item because Vayne can be incredibly squishy. The item’s extra shielding puts in work in keeping the markswoman alive. Stasis Enchant or Quicksilver enchant are the best boot upgrades on Wild Rift Vayne — adjusting either one according to the enemy’s picks.
The reason Stasis is great on Vayne is that, if she used her ultimate prior, she can simply tumble out of the stasis, abusing the instant invisibility to outmaneuver the opponents.
As for the rest of the items, they’re more adjustable. Solari Chargeblade is a rather solid damage output item for Vayne, whereas Guardian Angel is great for an extra defensive insurance. Infinity Edge combos well with Solari Chargeblade and Phantom dancer, allowing Vayne to maximize her damage output.
