NFL Week 10 is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are the NFL week 10 picks against the spread. (Spreads are from Tallysight as of Tuesday morning)
Last Week:Â 7-7-1
Season: 74-60-1
Thursday Night Football
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens (-6.5)
This should be a close game, as the Ravens can run the ball against Cincinnati’s lackluster rush defense and the Bengals can take advantage of a secondary that has had some issues for the Ravens. While the Ravens may win a desperate Bengals team will make it a game.
Pick: Bengals
Sunday Morning
New York Giants (-4.5) at Carolina Panthers (Game in Munich, Germany)
The Panthers got a win against the Saints, but traveling abroad could be tough. New York should be able to run the ball well on the Panthers and cover.
Pick: Giants
Sunday Afternoon
San Francisco 49ers (-6.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
San Francisco is coming off of a bye, while Tampa Bay will be on a short week. With Tampa Bay’s injuries and the 49ers getting healthier, they should be able to go on the road and take care of business.
Pick: 49ers
Atlanta Falcons (-3) at New Orleans Saints
New Orleans fired head coach Dennis Allen, but after losing every game since week 2, there shouldn’t be much hope. Atlanta is taking care of business and Kirk Cousins looks more comfortable now.
Pick: Falcons
Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs (-9.5)
While Kansas City is undefeated, they are struggling to blow out teams like they have in past years. Denver’s defense can keep them in the game if Bo Nix doesn’t turn the ball over.
Pick: Broncos
Buffalo Bills (-4.5) at Indianapolis Colts
Buffalo seems to be hitting their stride with four straight wins. Indianapolis put Joe Flacco in at quarterback, but he failed to find open receivers against the Vikings. The Bills can create some issues for him as well.
Pick: Bills
Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Commanders (-2.5)
The Steelers’ defense has been leading them to wins and the offense is coming along under Russell Wilson. Jayden Daniels has continued to play well through his rookie season and should be able to outscore the Steelers.
Pick: Commanders
Minnesota Vikings (-4.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars
Minnesota’s defense can create problems for a Jaguars’ offense that has struggled this year. The Vikings’ offense an start fast and even if they struggle afterwards like they have this season, they should be able to cover.
Pick: Vikings
New England Patriots at Chicago Bears (-6.5)
The last few weeks has highlighted some issues with the Bears and their coaching. Their defense is still talented and should win them this game. The Patriots with Drake Maye healthy could keep the game close because the Bears’ offense has had their issues.
Pick: Patriots
Sunday Evening
Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers (-7.5)
The Chargers’ defense has played well this season, meaning the Titans, who don’t have a great offense, should struggle in this game. Justin Herbert and the offense can do enough to cover.
Pick: Chargers
Philadelphia Eagles (-7) at Dallas Cowboys
With Dak Prescott out for a few weeks, the Cowboys are a mess. If Philadelphia runs the ball, they can win and cover easily.
Pick: Eagles
New York Jets (-1.5) at Arizona Cardinals
The Jets got on the right track with a win against the Texans at home, but a road game against the Cardinals could be tough. Kyler Murray has played well and their defense is doing much better than expected.
Pick: Cardinals
Sunday Night Football
Detroit Lions (-3) at Houston Texans
The Texans have struggled despite a solid record this season. Detroit’s offense is hard to stop, as they can beat teams in so many ways. That will help them win and cover on the road.
Pick: Lions
Monday Night Football
Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams (-2.5)
Miami’s offense is showing signs of life after getting Tua Tagovailoa back. They haven’t seen the results in the win column, but with the Rams having some deficiencies in their secondary, the Dolphins can take advantage and win on the road.
Pick: Dolphins
