#1 New York Giants
My winner of the NFC East is the New York Giants. They have to win the division, afterspent over 200 million dollars revamping their team, mostly on the defensive side. They added cornerback Janoris Jenkins, defensive end Olivier Vernon, and I think most importantly they added defensive tackle Damon Harrison.
Why is Harrison such a big addition for the Giants? Harrison is great defensive tackle against the run and against the pass. He is too big and quick to be guarded by one man. If offensive lines want to double him that means everyone else is one-on-one with their blocker. Vernon and Jason Pierre-Paul should have very good seasons this year because of it. The Giants will definitely have over 40 sacks this season, easy.
On the offensive side, wide receiver Victor Cruz is ready to get back on the field and produce for the Giants. The Giants will have one of the best wide receiver tandems with Cruz and fellow dancer Odell Beckham Jr. They also have tight end Larry Donell, a red zone nightmare for defenses. At the running back position, the Giants have Rashad Jennings, Shane Vereen, and Bobby Rainey in the backfield with Manning.
This is the Giants year to make noise and I think they will. A record between 9-7 and 12-4 is very possible of for the 2016 New York Giants.
