#2 Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys could definitely win this division but I think another team has a better chance the Cowboys. The Cowboys have the most chemistry from a player and coaching standpoint in this division. The only real key player from last year that is missing from the Cowboys is defensive end Greg Hardy. Last year, the Cowboys were poised to win the division and many think they are the favorite to win the division this year, but the Cowboys will not trick me. It is the same narrative but a different year. Offseason riddled with distractions, even their first round pick, Ezekiel Elliot, found himself in the middle of a domestic violence case. And just like every offseason for about the last five years, the Cowboys have one of the most talented teams in the division.
The Cowboys have the best offensive line in the division, the best run game in the division, the second best quarterback in the division, and they still have Dez Bryant. Tony Romo is only the second best because of his inability to play all 16 games. Dallas looks to be back in the same shape they were in when they won the division back in 2014, but slightly better on the defensive side of the ball. It’s the same core guys as 2014 but they have built more team chemistry and that is very important on the defensive side of the ball. The secondary should be a whole lot better. Morris Claiborne, Orlando Scandrick, and Brandon Carr are all very talented defensive backs and this year they will play better with each other. With more chemistry on the back end, they can take more risk because they will have better faith in their other fellow defensive backs.
A 8-8/ 9-7 record is very possible for the Dallas Cowboys.
