There is one unique special mission for the day, and 3 routine daily missions. Special missions swap out each day, while Daily Missions cumulatively require players to participate in 5 battles. Therefore, assuming players unlock Hoopa as a special event reward, it’ll take them 5 days minimum. Of course, they’ll have to finish every available mission to do so.

But how have players already unlocked Hoopa?

Although the writer for this article didn’t unlock Hoopa yet either, many other players already have. The only other way to use Hoopa currently is through the limited time trial card for the pokemon, which is handed to players for free when updating the game.
