The NFL regular season is over, but it is never too early to look ahead. Here is the 2025 NFL Mock Draft January 7.
1. Tennesse Titans- Cam Ward, QB, Miami Hurricanes
The Titans secured the no. 1 pick with a loss in week 18. Will Levis hasn’t panned out and Tennesee could be looking to the future at the position. He has good arm talent, but needs to improve his decision-making.
2. Cleveland Browns- Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado Buffaloes
Cleveland has to get a quarterback of the future this offseason. Sanders protects the football and is accurate. Kevin Stefanski can get the most out of him in Cleveland.
3. New York Giants- Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado Buffaloes
New York needs a quarterback, but are out of range to get one of the top two. A trade up could be in the works or a free agent addition could lessen their need. Hunter can help their defense and likely be sporadically on offense.
4. New England Patriots-Kelvin Banks, OT, Texas Longhorns
The Patriots have found their quarterback of the future in Drake Maye. They now need to protect him and get him more weapons. Banks is a good athlete who has helped Texas reach the CFP semifinals.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars-Mason Graham, DL, Michigan Wolverines
With a new head coach coming in, the Jaguars could go in a lot of directions. Improving the interior of their defense would really help, as they haven’t had good play there this season.
6. Las Vegas Raiders- Will Johnson, CB, Michigan Wolverines
The Raiders are out of range to get one of the top quarterbacks in the draft, so they can improve their defense. They need to start slowing down opposing offenses in the division and Johnson can match up with most receivers in the NFL.
7. New York Jets- Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State Nittany Lions
A lot has to be decide about the future of this team this offseason. They can improve their pass rush with Carter, who is still learning the position, but has great traits for the NFL.
8. Carolina Panthers- Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia Bulldogs
Carolina had one of the worst defensive seasons in NFL history this year. Walker can help rushing the passer, although he played mostly off-ball linebacker in college.
9. New Orleans Saints- Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona Wildcats
Chris Olave will be back next season, but with the Saints out of range to take a quarterback, they can help the offense by taking a big target like McMillan.
10. Chicago Bears- Will Campbell, OT, LSU Tigers
The Bears need to protect Caleb Williams better so he can develop. He has been great in pass-blocking. While his run blocking could use some work, the Bears’ top priority should be keeping Williams upright.
11. San Francisco 49ers- Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia Bulldogs
San Francisco missed the playoffs and have some injuries to overcome. Williams is a raw player, but has good NFL traits to be a good pass rusher from across Nick Bosa.
12. Dallas Cowboys- Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State Broncos
Dallas has other needs, but they may not be able to pass up Jeanty, who is the best running back in the class. With Dak Prescott back healthy, their offense could be the best in the league with the addition of Jeanty.
13. Miami Dolphins- Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State Buckeyes
The Dolphins have to jumble up the offensive line to help protect Tua Tagovailoa. Simmons was injured this season, but was playing well at left tackle for Ohio State before the injury. He may have to move to right tackle for the Dolphins, but they have to improve upfront in any way they can.
14. Indianapolis Colts- Malachi Starks, S, Georgia Bulldogs
Julian Blackmon is an impending free agent, so the Colts can replace him with one of the better safeties in the draft in recent years. Starks has the athleticism and ball skills of a corner, although he didn’t have his best season in 2024.
15. Atlanta Falcons- Luther Burden, WR, Missouri Tigers
The Falcons could choose to improve their defense, but Burden would give young quarterback Michael Penix Jr. another target to utilize and help his growth.
16. Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama Crimson Tide
Arizona could get better at a few different positions on defense. Campbell is a good athlete who really proved himself this season and can be a leader on defense.
17. Cincinnati Bengals- Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M Aggies
Scourton is a big, productive pass rusher. The Bengals need someone else besides Trey Hendrickson, who led the NFL in sacks, to get pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
18. Seattle Seahawks- James Pearce, EDGE, Tennessee Volunteers
Pearce is a good athlete for his size. He can help the Seahawks generate more pressure next season.
19. Houston Texans- Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan Wolverines
Houston can improve their interior defensive line with Grant, who moves very well for his size.
20. Denver Broncos- Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State Nittany Lions
Warren was a matchup nightmare at Penn State this season. Sean Payton will utilize him well to help Bo Nix develop.
21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss Rebels
Umanmielen was able to up his game this season at Ole Miss and can help Tampa Bay’s pass rush next season.
22. Pittsburgh Steelers- Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State Buckeyes
The Steelers can use a receiver like Egbuka, who does the little things well and can be a solid target for years to come.
23. Los Angeles Rams- Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina Pirates
Revel is injured and missed a lot of the 2024 season. The Rams need corner help badly and his athleticism and size seem like a fit for them.
24. Green Bay Packers- Shemar Stewart, DL, Texas A&M Aggies
The Packers could use some help on the interior defensive line to go next to Kenny Clark.
25. Los Angeles Chargers- Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan Wolverines
Jim Harbaugh can get his former tight end to help give another target for Justin Herbert.
26. Washington Commanders- Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame Fighting Irish
NFL teams will have to look into Morrison’s hip injury that cost him his season, but Morrison was up there with the best corners in the class before getting injured.
27. Baltimore Ravens- Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas Longhorns
Barron is a versatile and athletic player in the secondary, which could really suit the Ravens, as they hae moved players around before.
28. Minnesota Vikings- Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama
Whether the Vikings stick with Sam Darnold or turn things over to J.J. McCarthy, they can improve the interior offensive line by selecting Booker, who has plenty of experience at Alabama.
29. Walter Nolen, DL, Ole Miss Rebels
Nolen had a great season at Ole Mis and can give the Bills some more youth on the interior of their defensive line.
30. Philadelphia Eagles- Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas Longhorns
The Eagles don’t have too many needs, but can add to their offense by getting a third receiver, which can open things up.
31. Kansas City Chiefs-Aireonte Ersery, OT, Minnesota Golden Gophers
Kansas City has a strong interior line, but the tackles could be improved to help protect Patrick Mahomes.
32. Detroit Lions- Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss Rebels
The Lions can improve at corner, even after taking Terrion Arnold early last season.
