In the same day that he was officially released from the LA Valiant, Young-seo “KariV” Park has been signed to the Toronto Defiant. The move was leaked earlier this week from a video featuring Scott “Custa” Kennedy, Alberto “neptuNo” González and Josh “Sideshow” Wilkinson and is now officially confirmed.
Please join us in welcoming @KariVOW to the Defiant! We're so incredibly excited to have him on our roster and can't wait to see him in red and black. Thanks @LAValiant, we'll take good care of him. Stay tuned for more excitement during googly eyes season! #RiseTogether pic.twitter.com/2R627zZssZ

KariV was a founding member of the LA Valiant and would help the team find great success in Season 1 and late success in Season 2. KariV was awarded Role Star for his position at Support during the 2019 season and would be an integral part of the squad all the way through the season. In addition, he is also a fan favorite player to see hosting shows like Gamer Snacks for the Valiant alongside Brady “Agilities” Girardi.
The Defiant are coming off a disappointing first season marred with early retirements and several team dynamic switches. With these moves and rumored future moves to come, Toronto are looking to be a serious threat for other teams in the league and could very well make a playoff run in the 2020 season.
