The Philadelphia Fusion have parted ways with Elijah Hudson “Elk” Gallagher and Finley “Kyb” Adisi. Elk has been with the Fusion since 2017 when he joined Fusion University. Moving up on a two-way contract, Elk made a few appearances throughout the 2019 season before moving back to Contenders to travel with Fusion University as they took on Korea. Kyb was a more recent acquisition after the Fusion traded Joona “Fragi” Laine for him from the Guangzhou Charge. He never saw any playtime.
Today we part ways with @elk and @KYB.
We thank them for their hard work and for being incredible teammates during our 2019 Season, and we wish them luck and success in their future careers! #IonThePrize pic.twitter.com/FNIiioTdzg

Neither of these moves comes as a shock to fans, but some good news has dropped in the middle of today’s Rosterpocalypse. In a report for ESPN by Jacob Wolf, it was announced that Jae-hyeok “Carpe” Lee will be signing on with the Philadelphia Fusion for the next three years. This is the longest contract signing to date in the Overwatch League, surpassing Ethan “Stratus” Yankel and his two-year contract with the Washington Justice.
As a reminder, all of the current offseason changes will be continuously updated in TGH’s Complete List of Overwatch League Offseason Moves.
