Walking Wake and Iron Leaves April Rerun

Trainers, Paradox Pokémon are some of the newest and fascinating additions to the dex. Walking Wake and Iron Leaves have been raids bosses at least three times. One to make up for a glitch, 2 times at opportune times for players to complete their paradox trios. This article will go over the information on the next opportunity to fight Walking Wake and Iron Leaves in Scarlet and Violet in April.

The 4th Chance to Defeat Paradox Suicune and Virizion

According to Game8, another rerun of the Walking Wake and Iron Leaves is set for later in the month. Players will be able to fight these two from April 26 to May 06 in 5 star raids. As players have fought these two before, it should be an easy treat to farm more materials off of them while waiting for the next 7 star raid.

As well, 5 star raids are generally easier than their 7 star counterparts. Trainers should feel a bit more flexibility in which Pokémon they want to use for the challenge. Below, players will find the loadouts for each boss.

Walking Wake

Type: Water/Dragon

Tera Type: Water

Ability: Protosynthesis

Moves: Hydro Steam, Dragon Pulse, Noble Roar, Flamethrower, Sunny Day

Level: 75~

Several electric-type Pokémon would fare well against Walking Wake. Grass is not ideal as Sunny Day would ramp up the power of Flamethrower and Hydro Steam, leading them to be KO’d very easily. Despite having a weakness to Dragon, Miraidon is still the best answer as it’s resistant to Walking Wake’s strongest attacks.

It’s also the best offensively for dealing electric damage due to STAB Electro Drift. By using the move charge, Miraidon could KO Walking Wake in only a couple of turns. Supporting screen users could help Miraidon with Light Screen.

Iron Leaves

Typing: Psychic/Grass

Tera Type: Psychic

Ability: Quark Drive

Moves: Psyblade, Leaf Blade, Megahorn, Swords Dance, Electric Terrain

Level: 75~

Dark, Steel, and Ghost Pokémon would be the best counters to Iron Leaves. Pokémon like Kingambit and Gholdengo match the best with Iron Leaves as their steel typing resists both grass and psychic damage. Between the two, Kingambit is the more accessible choice, but players can even use Pokémon like Meowscarada, so long as they have the means to increase its defense.

Conclusion

This is all the information the community knows about the rerun of the Walking Wake and Iron Leaves April raids. This will not be hard for players who have taken them on before. All players have to do is make sure their chosen Pokémon are ready to go and they’ll be ok.
