NFL Week 15 is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are the NFL week 15 picks against the spread. (Spreads are from Tallysight as of Tuesday morning)
Last Week: 4-8, Season: 93-109-6
Thursday Night Football
San Francisco 49ers (-3.5) at Seattle Seahawks
Even with Brock Purdy in at quarterback, the 49ers are playing good football. The Seahawks have started to cool off, losing three of their last four games.
Pick: 49ers
Saturday
Indianapolis Colts at Minnesota Vikings (-5.5)
After losing to the Lions, the Vikings can get back on track with a win over the Colts. Indianapolis has not been able to consistently get their offense going this season, while the Vikings have been able to score well.
Pick: Vikings
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns (-3)
The Ravens have some injury issues at quarterback. Lamar Jackson and backup Tyler Huntley are banged up. One of them may be able to play, but even if they can’t, the Ravens’ offense will focus on running the ball heavily, which means they could keep the game close and even still win with third-stringer Anthony Brown taking the reps.
Pick: Ravens
Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills (-7.5)
Miami needs a bounce-back win badly after losing to the Chargers. Unfortunately, they play Buffalo this week, which will make things tough. The line is a little big for two playoff contenders, so the Dolphins may cover.
Pick: Dolphins
Sunday Afternoon
Kansas City Chiefs (-14) at Houston Texans
While the Texans played the Cowboys tough in week 14, doing it in back-to-back weeks against good competition will be tough. Kansas City needs to remained focused to get the top seed in the AFC.
Pick: Chiefs
Detroit Lions at New York Jets (-1)
The Lions are one of the hottest teams in the entire league after beating the Vikings. Their passing attack will go up against a very good Jets’ defense. New York will slow them down and be able to win at home.
Pick: Jets
Dallas Cowboys (-5) at Jacksonville Jaguars
Dallas has been caught starting slowly the last few weeks. That is something they will try to change this week, which should help them win and cover on the road.
Pick: Cowboys
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints (-4.5)
The Falcons are starting rookie quarterback Desmond Ridder this week, but that may improve the offense especially since he had a bye week to prepare for the game. New Orleans can win at home, but it might be by a field goal.
Pick: Falcons
Pittsburgh Steelers at Carolina Panthers (-2)
Kenny Pickett was playing a little better before leaving the game against the Ravens with a concussion. The Panthers are heating up after winning three of their last four games and can win with the current Pittsburgh quarterback situation.
Pick: Panthers
Philadelphia Eagles (-8.5) at Chicago Bears
The Eagles look like they can’t be stopped right now. Philadelphia has the weapons to run or throw the ball and their defense has played well.
Pick: Eagles
Sunday Evening
New England Patriots at Las Vegas Raiders (-1)
The Patriots are staying out west after their win over the Cardinals. Bill Belichick will be able to outcoach his former assistant, Josh McDaniels, to get the win on the road.
Pick: Patriots
Arizona Cardinals (-2.5) at Denver Broncos
Arizona has lost Kyler Murray to what is likely a torn ACL. Denver could be without Russell Wilson, who has a concussion. In what could be a weird game, the Broncos should be able to keep it close at home.
Pick: Broncos
Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers (-2.5)
The Titans have really slowed down over the last several weeks, while the Chargers need to keep winning in order to get into the playoffs. Tennessee’s best chance to get up early and kill the clock, but playcalling has prevented them from doing that strategy.
Pick: Chargers
Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Cincinnati will be down their top pass rusher and corner, but there is not other reason to think that the Bengals won’t win and cover against a Tampa team that just got blown out against the 49ers.
Pick: Bengals
Sunday Night Football
New York Giants at Washington Commanders (-4.5)
These two teams met in week 13 and they played to a tie. Washington has had a week to prepare for this game and now gets to play at home. With how well they are playing and with the Giants fading, they can win and cover.
Pick: Commanders
Monday Night Football
Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers (-7.5)
The Rams are very banged up, while the Packers are coming off a bye and get this game at home.
Pick: Packers
