On Twitter, the Eagles welcomed new head coach Nick Sirianni to Philadelphia. Members of the Eagles organization greeted him this morning as he walked off the airplane. General manager Howie Roseman and the Eagles mascot were one of the first people to greet him. Sirianni, the former offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts, looks to get started in his new chapter in Philadelphia. It is now time to start looking how the Eagles offense will change with Nick Sirianni.

How will Sirianni Improve Morale?
Indianapolis coach Frank Reich had many great things to say about the new hire in Philadelphia. According to Reich, he was influential in developing an offensive game plan for the Colts and he was one of Reich’s right hand men in Indianapolis. Reich described Sirianni as brilliant, passionate, a leader and a fantastic teacher for the game of football. This coach has the leadership ability and football smarts to lead the Eagles out of the drama surrounding them.
Sirianni Dealing with Carson Wentz
The Carson Wentz situation is another problem that Sirianni needs to figure out for the Eagles’ organization. Wentz, who got benched earlier this year, said multiple times that he is almost finished with the Eagles organization and desires a starting role in the NFL. This could be a hint that Wentz has plans to give the Eagles organization another chance. For this to work, Sirianni needs to form a relationship with Wentz and prove to him that he can be a key part in the Eagles offensive scheme.
 Getting the Tight Ends Involved
Chris McPherson from the Philadelphia Eagles’ website has given some insight on what the offense will look like under Siranni. The first plan Sirianni has is a two tight end set. This is a great offensive scheme that the Eagles can use to their advantage. They have two strong tight ends that include Dallas Goedert and Zach Ertz. These two tight ends can give defenses fits with their large bodies and their ability to get yards after the catch. This scheme will also give the tight end’s ability to get open down the middle of field. This will help the wide receiving core, which failed to produce during the past season. With defenses focusing on these two tight ends, this could give the Eagles the ability to take some deep shots down field.
Getting the Running Backs Involved in the Passing Game
Another plan that Sirianni has according to the Eagles’ website, is to get the running backs involved in the passing game. This would give the Eagles more threats when it comes to the running back position. Miles Sanders carried the load this season rushing for 876 yards according to ESPN. He also had the help of Boston Scott who rushed for 374 yards. Given these guys’ ability to catch the ball in the flat and provide screens in the passing game, this will only give opposing defenses another dimension of the Eagles offense to worry about. Sirianni mentioned that he wants to get more yards after the catch. These two backs will provide plenty of that with their elusiveness, speed and the ability to break tackles after the catch.
The offensive scheme that Sirianni gave seems like a great plan to fix the Eagles’ struggles that they had in the 2020 season. Time will only tell if Sirianni can put his scheme in action and give the offense the production that they desperately need. This should give Philadelphia fans insight on how the Eagles offense will change with Nick Sirianni.
