There will be the original games that everyone loved. This includes bowling, chambara, golf (coming in a later update) and tennis. Now fans will get to play these amazing games online against friends and even random opponents in matchmade lobbies. This means that fans who had been wanting to try their skills against more than just their family or friends, will finally be able to do so.

The other games that were announced as new additions are soccer, volleyball and badminton. This includes a new soccer mode where players can attach their joycons to their legs for kicking and playing the game. There is no doubt that these will be some fan favorites once they arrive.

There will be an online playtesting period for anyone who has Nintendo Online from February 18-20 with the game launching later. Fans will get to test out the games and controls for an entire weekend which will help for those who cannot wait for the new game to arrive.

For fans to play the full game they will have to wait but not for too long. The official Nintendo Switch Sports Release Date is April 29, 2022.

It will be interesting to see if this game makes more additions and brings back games like boxing and baseball from the original game. Either way, fans could hear the original Wii Sports music remastered as well which will surely bring a smile to the faces of those who played the game over 15 years ago.
