Trainers, the next 7-star raid has been announced. Right off of Meganium, players will be fighting the water and fairy-type operettic menace. This piece will go into the details of the 7-Star Primarina raid.
The next 7 Star Tera Raid Battle event has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Thie raid boss this time will be a Primarina with the Fairy Tera Type and the Mightiest Mark. It can only be caught once per save file. This event will run from May 10 through May 12.
The second wave will run from May 17 to May 19. It will also include the return of Blissey raids with Tera Shard rewards. There are quite a few ways players can tackle this challenge. To help, the Game Haus has found a speculative moveset on Game8 for readers here:
Level: 100
Ability: Liquid Voice
Type: Water/Fairy with Fairy Tera Type
Moves: Sparkling Aria, Moonblast, Hyper Voice, Calm Mind
Extra Moves: Rain Dance, Misty Terrain, Amnesia
Given its ability, players will want Pokémon that can neuter sound-oriented moves or have an ability like Soundproof.
Two potential counters for Primarina are Clodsire and Tentacruel. What’s good about them is their poison typing. This is one of two typings that can cripple Fairy types. Clodsire’s ground typing is also not an issue in this situation as it has the ability Water Absorb.
This makes moves like Sparkling Aria useless. From there, all players would need to do is barrage Primarina with poison.
On the topic of poison, Tentacruel is an extraordinary choice to pair with the loafy axolotl. Tentacruel can learn Throat Chop to lock it out of sound based moves. On top of that, Tentacruel can also lower Primarina’s defenses to make it more vulnerable to attacks.
The combination of these two Pokémon together can bring the pop star seel to its knees.
This is all the community knows so far about the 7 Star Primarina raid. And it is by no means set in stone as information on technical details are still speculative at best. However, Game8 and Serebii are usually on point, so players can at least use this as a solid base to prepare.
