Differing from the original title back in 2014, there will be Lords Of The Fallen Multiplayer within the title. Up to one other friend. While both players can then explore Axiom and Umbral, Player 1 will have complete authority over Player 2. Going more into detail if Player 1 dies, it’s game over for both players not just the host. However, if Player 2 or the guest dies, the host can simply resurrect them. Joining is a drop-in, drop-out mechanic, but the host has to be at a checkpoint, or Vestige to send game invites. If this PVE concept doesn’t seem like a fit, then a PVP mode will be available.
While some similarities can be made when compared to FromSoftware’s games such as Darksouls or Elden Ring, Lords Of The Fallen is its own title. The demon God, Adyr is ready to resurrect and rule once more. Gamers will play as Dark Crusaders, journeying through both the realms of the living and the dead to put a stop to Adyr’s tyranny. Crusaders can all be customized from their appearance to their classes, weapons, outfits, and more.
Currently, Lords Of The Fallen has 3 different versions to choose from, each one providing its bonuses and perks.
Standard Pre Order ($69.99)
Deluxe Edition ($79.99)
Collectors Edition ($250)
Lords Of The Fallen launches Friday, October 13, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
