OpTic Gaming will not be traveling very far this week for CDL Los Angeles. This shared home series between the Guerrillas and OpTic Gaming has teams excited to prove themselves on a big stage. OpTic will be sporting a new look and hungry to prove their doubters wrong.
CDL Los Angeles Preview:
Los Angeles Guerrillas: 3-6
The battle for Los Angeles will begin early as the two rival teams will face off on March 7. The Guerrillas will be sporting a new roster for this event as they just picked up players ‘Spart’ and ‘Vivid’. There were a lot of rumors around the CDL about some roster changes and the Guerrillas proved them to be true. Spart and Vivid should provide a much needed boost for the struggling roster. This match up is going to prove to be important for both sides as they fight to stay competitive in the CDL.
Players to Watch: Dashy and Slasher
OpTic Gaming officially announced a role change for the two players on twitter just a few days ago. Dashy will now be using a sub machine gun while Slasher will be using an assault rifle. These new roles fit each of these players perfectly and the team should come out firing on all cylinders this weekend.
Prediction: 3-1 OpTic Gaming LA
Fans of OpTic Gaming LA should not be worried about the team’s slow start. The season is still very young and the team is still finding their footing. While a simple role change does not seem like a big push for improvement, little tweaks like this will make a huge difference for a struggling team like this. Viewers should be excited for this weekend in Los Angeles at the Shrine Expo Hall.
