The Boston Bruins signed defenseman Zdeno Chara to a one-year extension. Chara’s extension guarantees $2 million in base salary and $1.75 million performance incentives.
According to TSN insider Pierre LeBrun that a majority of his bonus is measured through his playing time in 2019-2020 season. Additionally, Chara receives $250,000 by making the playoffs and another $250,000 if the Bruins win the Stanley Cup.
