The Buffalo Bills have sent Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in a trade according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Buffalo will also send a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick as part of the deal. Houston will send a 2024 second-round pick to Buffalo for all of the assets.
Diggs joins a Texans team that will return Tank Dell and Nico Collins at the wide receiver position. Rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud led the team to the playoffs last season and now could build on that for next year.
In Buffalo, the Bills will likely use the extra early draft capital to get Josh Allen another receiver to utilize, as he lost both Diggs and Gabe Davis this offseason. Khalil Shakir and Curtis Samuel are currently projected to be the top receivers for the Bills.
