The Pittsburgh Steelers have acquired wide receiver Mike Williams from the Jets for a fifth-round pick according to Jordan Schultz.
Wiliams, 30, played just the first part of this seasons with the Jets after playing the first seven seasons of his career with the Chargers. In his career, he has 321 receptions for 4,972 yards and 31 touchdowns. This season for the Jets, Williams hauled in 12 passes for 166 yards.
With the Steelers, Williams will join a wide receiver room that features George Pickens as the only receiver with at least 300 yards.
The Jets had a crowded wide receiver room, especially after adding Davante Adams in a trade, which motivated them to move Wiliams.
