Pokemon TCG Pocket Battle Event Lapras EX

Pokemon TCG Pocket brings many options for Pokemon card game fans. It allows you to feel the rush of opening up packs and adding to your collection while also letting you battle in a much quicker version of its famous card game.

It has been extremely popular to the point that they are reports that the game is making $3 million a day. This is even more than Pokemon GO which means that The Pokemon Company will certainly continue to invest more resources into it.

This first battle even is a fun one. You will have the opportunity to earn five different promo cards that are seemingly exclusive to this event. They are Clefairy, Mankey, Pikachu, Butterfree and of course, Lapras EX.

There will be four different battles all with different difficulties that escalate as you unlock those battles. They all have different rewards that you can get but at the end, as long as you win you will receive a Promo-A Pack.

In this pack there will be one of the 5 different cards that you can receive. From what we can tell here at The Game Haus you have a 1 in 5 chance to get any of the cards, most people will want the Lapras. It also looks like the Mankey is a new card as well but all 5 will have the stamp making them a Promo exclusive.

How to Beat the Lapras EX Challenge

Now you may be wondering how to best beat these Lapras decks? Well honestly, you can use anything other than Rock or Fire Pokemon for the first two decks as they are pretty easy.

Once you reach the third deck though, you may be needing to switch up your strategy and go with an Electric themed deck as all the water Pokemon in the Lapras decks are taking an extra 20 damage per electric attack due to it being their weakness.

You should be able to go into your deck builder and find some Electric Pokemon even if you just started. Any of them will do but make sure your deck has as many electric Pokemon as possible and then add in normal Pokemon to fill out the deck so that you do not have to worry about any of the random energies that you get in game not being electric.

After this you just keep battling and getting those Promo packs until you get the Lapras or all of them.
