The Pittsburgh Steelers have traded for Preston Smith from the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay is receiving a seventh-round pick as part of the deal according to Ian Rapoport.
Smith, 32, has registered 2.5 sacks and two tackles for loss this season. In his 10-year career, Smith has 68.5 sacks and 71 tackles for loss.
The Steelers are adding to their quality defense with this move. They are allowing just 14.9 points per game, ranking them second in the league.
