Cloud9 White longstanding member Annie “AnnieDro” Roberts has stepped down from the competitive roster. She now moves to a content creation position at Cloud9, with Bob “Bob” Tran filling her position.

AnnieDro first played for MAJKL, before the roster was signed underneath Cloud9 White. Playing in Game Changers Series, Cloud9 White found immediate success in 2021. Not only has the team won all three Game Changers, but they went undefeated, not dropping a single match. This success continued to 2022, where Cloud9 White won their fourth consecutive Game Changers tournament.
Although Cloud9 White found themselves at the top of the Game Changers Series, they have fallen short in qualifying for the VCT. In the Open Qualifiers for Challengers 2, DarkZero Esports and Team Mystic defeated Cloud9 White, ending their run.
Bob’s career in North America VALORANT also started in 2021 as part of the Susquehanna Soniqs. The last event that Bob took part with Soniqs in was the 2022 Stage 1 Challengers, falling in open bracket to Knights and Luminosity. On March 28, Bob became a free agent as Soniqs remade their roster for Challengers 2, before being acquired by Cloud9 White.
Cloud9 White’s Roster following the move is now:
- Melanie “meL” Capone (Captain)
- Alexis “alexis” Guarrasi
- Jasmine “Jazzyk1ns” Manankil
- Katja “katsumi” Pfahnl
- Bob “Bob” Tran
Game Changers returns with Open Qualifiers on June 30. The top eight teams will qualify for the main event to be crowned Game Changers North American Champions. VCT Game Changers Circuit Points will also be awarded, with the top two teams in North America qualifying for Game Changers Berlin at the end of the year. Currently, Cloud9 White is at first place with 80 points.
