The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. The bowl season schedule allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2019 PlayStation Fiesta Bowl.
LSU Tigers Prospects
*Cornerback Greedy Williams will sit this bowl game out to prepare for the NFL Draft. He is a projected first-round pick.
Devin White, LB
White has been one of the best linebackers in the country over the last two seasons. At LSU, he has 278 total tackles, 28.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, one interception, eight passes defended, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. This year, White has 115 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss, three sacks, five passes defended, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
He has solid size at 6-foot-1 and 240 pounds. His ability to get to the ball carrier and brim him down is unmatched in this draft class and he could be a top 10 pick.
Projected draft range: Top 15 pick
Foster Moreau, TE
Moreau is a solid tight end, but hasn’t had the best production or quarterback play. In his career, he has 50 catches for 607 yards and six touchdowns. In 2018, he has 20 catches for 250 yards and two touchdowns. He also has significant experience run blocking over the last few seasons.
At 6-foot-6 and 256 pounds, Moreau has great size. He could be a day two or early day three prospect.
Projected draft range: Third round-fifth round
Rashard Lawrence, DT/DE
Lawrence could have the ability to fit into multiple defenses and schemes in the NFL. As an LSU Tiger, he has recorded 87 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and four passes defended. This season, Lawrence has 49 total tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks and three passes defended.
The junior stands 6-foot-3 and 317 pounds, which is good for a defensive lineman. His ability to play 3-4 defensive end or 4-3 linebacker will help his draft stock.
Projected draft range: Third round-fifth round
Other LSU Tigers prospects:Â S John Battle (Sixth round-undrafted free agent), K Cole Tracy (Sixth round-undrafted free agent)
UCF Knights Prospects
* Quarterback McKenzie Milton is out for this game with a leg injury. If the junior decides to go pro, his draft range is sixth round to undrafted free agent.
Pat Jasinski, LB
Jasinski is one of the best linebackers in UCF history. At UCF he has 249 total tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, two interceptions, six passes defended, two fumble recoveries and three fumbles forced. This season he has logged 62 total tackles, five tackles for loss, one interception, four passes defended, one fumble recovery and three fumbles forced.
He has ok size for an NFL linebacker at 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds. His athleticism and speed may hold him back from being drafted, but Jasinski will get a shot to make an NFL team.
Projected draft range: Sixth round-undrafted free agent
Kyle Gibson, S
Gibson has anchored the back end of the defense and been a leader. The senior has 196 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, five interceptions, 12 passes defended, three fumbles recovered and three fumbles forced. In 2018, Gibson has 83 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, one interception, six passes defended, one fumble recovery and two forced fumbles.
He is a little slight at 6-foot and 184 pounds, but can still play at a high level.
Projected draft range: Sixth round-undrafted free agent
Titus Davis, DE/LB
Davis played decently as a junior, but has elevated his game this season. For his career, he has 143 total tackles, 21 tackles for loss, eight sacks, one interception, one pass defended, two fumble recoveries and four forced fumbles. This year, he has 59 total tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, one pass defended, one fumble recovery and two forced fumbles.
He is 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds, but is a bit of a tweener without a true position.
