The 18-year-old Finland native impressed fans and scouts in his last 12 months. Recently the rookie forward won the gold medal with Finland at the 2019 IIHF World Championship. His seven points (six goals, one assist) in 10 games in the World Championship proved spectators that he is ready for the NHL.

Kakko (6-foot-2, 194 pounds) also won gold at the 2018 IIHF U18 World Championship and 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship. He won three gold medals in 13 months.
