There were a lot of outstanding performances on the hardwood this week. We narrowed that list to five. Here are your Top Five Players of the Week in college basketball:

5. Makai Mason (Baylor)

The Bears’ resurgence in the last few weeks should be credited to the play of Makai Mason. The Yale transfer led the way with a team-high 12 points in a road win at Oklahoma. On Saturday, he poured in 40 points, including nine threes, as Baylor blasted TCU in Waco. The Bears are rolling having won six in a row.

4. Cameron Johnson (North Carolina)

The senior guard notched 22 points on the road at Georgia Tech with an efficient eight of 10 from the field. On Saturday, Johnson scored 19 points as the Tar Heels avenged a 21-point loss to Louisville. When Luke Maye and Cam Johnson are hitting shots, Carolina is about as tough as anybody in the country to beat. UNC has rattled off six in a row since their home loss to the Cards in January.

3. Chris Clemons (Campbell)

The nation’s leading scorer at 29.2 PPG was at it again this week. First, he scored 39 points and hit the buzzer-beating three at Radford on Wednesday. He followed that up with another 39-point performance versus Longwood, passing Larry Bird on the all-time scoring list in the process. March Madness desperately needs Chris Clemons and the Campbell Camels to be apart of the Big Dance. This kid is must-see television.

2. Ja Morant (Murray State)

In a loss to Jacksonville State, Morant scored 22 points and had 11 assists. On Saturday, he tallied 28 points, five assists and five steals in a win over Tennessee Tech. Although he needs to cut down on his turnovers, Morant is a bonafide top-five pick in this year’s NBA Draft.

1. Zion Williamson (Duke)

The freshman phenom put up huge numbers this week, scoring 26 at Notre Dame and 28 against St. Johns on Saturday. His efficiency shooting the ball is noteworthy. In two games this week he shot 23 of 29 from the field. He somehow continues to blow basketball fans’ minds every time he touches the floor. All signs point towards Williamson winning the Wooden Award and being the top pick in June’s draft.
