Blues Headlines
Can the Blues win at home?
The Blues are 2-4 at home in this year Stanley Cup Playoffs. On the road; they are 5-1. The Blues struggled at home but need this win. They need to clear their heads and focus on scoring quickly once the pucks drop. Teams that score first in Game 7 is 129-46 all-time in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Strong Defense
The Blues defense has been the most consistent position group for the team. So far in the playoffs, they scored 29 points (3 goals, 25 assists). Alex Pietrangelo (two goals, eight assists) and Colton Parayko (one goal, six assists) had been leading the defense in scoring.
The Blues didn’t run lines in today’s skate, but I would expect the same lineup as in Game 6. Sammy Blais said it was going to be the biggest game of his life, so I’m assuming that means he’s in 😉 #stlblues

Stars Headlines
Ben Bishop Will Play
The Stars did not advance to the Western Conference in front of their home crowd in Game 6. Fans were concerned when goaltender Ben Bishop went down from a hard shot from Parayko. He left the game with an injured shoulder in the second period. Anton Khudobin came in and substituted Bishop for the rest of the game. The good news is that Ben Bishop will play in Game 7 when the team needs him.

This year Vezina Trophy candidate had two career shutouts in Game 7. During his time in Tampa Bay, he recorded two shutouts in Game 7s against the Detroit Red Wings in the first round and the New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference Final. Another important stat is after a loss, Bishop is 3-1 with a.937 this postseason.
“It’s a big advantage when your goaltender’s been in these games before, he’s been in the Stanley Cup Finals and has had success in these kinds of games,” Dallas coach Jim Montgomery said.
Monty says that Ben Bishop is fine. Now it’s back to St. Louis for one more game.
