Pokemon Stadium is one of the classic Nintendo 64 games from the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. It was released right around when Pokemon was near the height of its initial popularity. Everyone thought that Pokemon would eventually fade away. Instead, it is inching closer to its 30th Anniversary. Here is a look at when fans can get their hands on the classic game, here is the Pokemon Stadium 2 Switch Release Date.

A few years ago, Nintendo announced that they would be launching an expansion pass to their online offering that included old Nintendo 64 and Sega games. This has seen some very big and iconic games rereleased to the public. Some for the first time since their original releases over 20 years ago. One of the biggest ones to come out recently was Goldeneye, a James Bond multiplayer classic.
Now, it seems as if it is Pokemon’s chance to get the spotlight. Pokemon Stadium 2 was one of the first games to see a pretty big interaction between the Nintendo 64 and the Gameboy. It allowed players not only to play their Gold, Silver and Crystal games on Nintendo 64. But, it also was a great game in and of itself.
The Gym Leader challenge was always fun. It was also challenging and took out the grinding that most Pokemon games require. One of the major reasons it was great though were the mini games that were added to it. Ones like Streaming Stampede, Egg Emergency and a fun but frustrating one in Eager Eevee. Truthfully, there were no bad mini games of the nine that came with the original game.
When looking at the Pokemon Stadium 2 Switch Release Date, fans will not have to wait long as it will be available sometime in 2023. The original Pokemon Stadium will be coming in April and likely Pokemon Stadium 2 will come out in the near future.
Players can only play it though with Nintendo Online and the expansion pass is included. The normal Nintendo Switch Online plan is only $19.99 a year and the additional expansion pack is an additional $30.00. So for an overall price of $49.99 a year, players can play online and continue to get classic games from the N64 and one from the Gamecube at some point in the future as well.
