NFL Week 14 Picks Against the Spread

Publish Date: December 3, 2024

NFL Week 14 is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are the NFL week 14 picks against the spread. (Spreads are from Tallysight as of Tuesday morning)

Last Week: 11-5

Season: 109-80-4

Thursday Night Football

Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions (-3.5)

Green Bay went on a hot streak late last season and are on one right now. That may come to an end against the Lions, who can beat teams in so many different ways. The LIons’ balanced attack should help them protect their home turf.

Pick: Lions

Sunday Afternoon

Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings (-4.5)

This is a revenge game for Kirk Cousins, but he has been playing poorly lately. Minnesota’s defense should have a good game and give their offense room to cover the spread at home.

Pick: Vikings

New Orleans Saints (-4.5) at New York Giants

The Giants score the least number of points in the league and don’t have an answer at quarterback. New Orleans has som injuries, but should be able to overcome them to win and cover on the road.

Pick: Saints

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans (-3.5)

Trevor Lawrence is likely out for this game. Mac Jones struggled to score points when he has started games this season. Tennessee’s defense should shut down the Jags to cover.

Pick: Titans

Las Vegas Raiders at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-7)

Tampa Bay is being picked to win the game, but the Raiders can keep it close. They showed some life against the Chiefs on Black Friday and had more time to prepare for the Bucs.

Pick: Raiders

Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers (-6.5)

The Steelers can win the game, but this has the feel of a classic AFC North game. Cleveland won the first matchup between these two teams and can keep this one close.

Pick: Browns

Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles (-12.5)

While the Panthers and Bryce Young are playing better, the Eagles are on another level right now. Philadelphia has covered eight games this season. They have won their last eight games, three of which were by a wider margin than the spread.

Pick: Eagles

New York Jets at Miami Dolphins (-6.5)

The Jets were aided by special teams plays and still lost to the Seahawks. Miami’s offense is starting to click with Tua Tagovailoa playing well, so they should be able to win and cover.

Pick: Dolphins

Sunday Evening

Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals (-2.5)

The Seahawks have won three straight games, including one over the Cardinals. Arizona has lost two straight. Seattles’ defense has been playing well the last few weeks, which can fuel them to win on the road.

Pick: Seahawks

Buffalo Bills (-4.5) at Los Angeles Rams

Buffalo has won seven straight games and have defeated some good teams in the process. Josh Allen is playing at an MVP level. In the last four weeks the Rams have lost two games by more than 10 points, so the Bills can follow suit.

Pick: Bills

Chicago Bears at San Franciso 49ers (-3.5)

The 49ers have some key injuries, which limits what they can do. Chicago fired Matt Eberflus, which gives them a boost, but the 49ers are desperate for wins at this point of the season.

Pick: 49ers

Sunday Night Football

Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5)

Kansas City has been winning games, but they aren’t playing to their potential. The Chargers lost by seven last time these two teams played and with Justin Herbert being healthier this time, the Chargers can pull off the upset.

Pick: Chargers

Monday Night Football

Cincinnati Bengals (-5.5) at Dallas Cowboys

The Bengals can score points. Dallas will struggle to keep up with Cooper Rush at quarterback, regardless of how bad the Bengals’ defense plays.

Pick: Bengals
