In an official tweet from the San Francisco Shock, Min-ho “Architect” Park is no longer with the team. They said that his contract has been transferred to another team, but did not name which one. All signs point to the Hangzhou Spark picking him up, but nothing has been confirmed at the date of publication.
As of today Architect’s contract has been transferred to another OWL team.
Thank you Minho, for all of your hard work and we are excited to see you get the play time you deserve.
We will ALWAYS cheer for you @Shock_Architect 🖤 pic.twitter.com/yrxn9PLbDT

Architect has been with the Shock since March 13, 2018. But with the team having five Damage players he did not see much time on-stage this season. He notably played Ana against Dallas in their first game back, but with Seon-chang “ANS” Lee and Dong-jun “Rascal” Kim covering most of his hero pool, he has spent a lot of time on the bench.
There are a lot of rumors swirling that he is all set to join the Hangzhou Spark. On Friday, the Spark tweeted a comic that noted that they were getting reinforcements. The short comic centered around an old friend reuniting with Kyeong-bo “GodsB” Kim in the airport. GodsB and Architect were teammates pre-OWL on X6-Gaming. Additionally, the Spark have seen the retirement of Jun-ki “Bazzi” Park, so they may be looking to pick up a top-tier DPS player.
The Shock must make sure the loss of Architect will not affect their play going into the May Melee tournament. They have secured the top seed, but have lost both Architect and Jay “Sinatraa” Won in the past few weeks. Going from five to three DPS players is a large change, so Head Coach Dae-hee “Crusty” Park has a few less weapons in his arsenal.
