The Los Angeles Gladiators have once again constructed a roster that is gunning for the title belt. On Friday February 24, the Gladiators welcomed in Kai for the 2023 season. The stand-out hit-scan player spent the past two years with the Atlanta Reign, and now heads to LA for the sixth season of the Overwatch League. Kai joins Kevin “Kevster” Persson and Kim “Yaki” Jun-ki as the third DPS option for the Glads.
Since his debut with the Los Angeles Valiant back in 2020, Kai has been regarded as one of the top hit-scan DPS players in the league. His proficiency on Widowmaker and Cassidy caught the attention of OWL fans and helped an underdog Valiant team claim a spot in the top 5 teams in North America. After the devastating news that the Valiant would disband immediately and move to the APAC region, Kai (whose IGN was KSP at the time) was left without a team just a month before the season start.

Kai would go on to help the Reign reach the Grand Finals in 2021, where they unfortunately failed to take a map off of the Shanghai Dragons in a 0-4 loss. The following year Kai and company would once again reach the Grand Finals bracket, but took an early exit home after losing two straight.
Kai joins the Los Angeles Gladiators in pursuit of that elusive title. Los Angeles fans get a chance to watch their newest player showcase their talents later this March during the Overwatch League Pro-Am.
