Flacco, 37, is a former first-round pick and Super Bowl-winning quarterback. He has 41,269 passing yards, 227 touchdowns and 144 interceptions on 61.7 percent completion in his career. Last season, he played in two games for the Jets, starting one and passing for 338 yards and three touchdowns.
With the re-signing of Flacco, the Jets will have an experienced backup for Zach Wilson. He should be able to help Wilson develop as an NFL quarterback.
