League of Legends Season 15: Noxus

As mentioned earlier in a dev post, from season 15 onwards, each League of Legends will be divided into three separate thematic seasons, with the first thematic season of 2025 being the Noxus Empire. To kick off season 15, Summoners Rift will receive a visual overhaul, changing the scenery, towers, and shopkeepers to be more Noxus-themed. Alongside the map changes will come new runes, items, and even a new jungle camp for everybody to fight over.

Season 15: New Runes

So far, four new runes have been revealed with the Season 15 Noxus thematic season.

Axiom Arcanist – a rune in the sorcery tree that will replace nullifying orb, increases ultimate power alongside refunding partial ultimate cooldown on takedowns.

Deep Ward – a new rune in the domination tree will make the stealth wards you drop in the enemy jungle a bit stronger, gaining more HP and duration.

Sixth Sense – another rune in the domination tree will automatically track an enemy ward for you, and even reveal it so you can take it out. This rune will have a 300-360 cooldown depending on if you are a ranged or melee champion.

Grisly Mementos – the final new rune in the domination tree, this rune will give you infinitely stacking trinket haste on champion takedowns, meaning you can light up the map or clear all enemy vision to help you with your snowballing.

Season 15: New Items

Although tank item reworks were mentioned in the dev post, we have no information about this yet. However, what we do know, is that all forms of boots will be receiving an upgrade. By completing 2/3 “Feats of Strength,” (First Blood, First Tower, and First 3 Objectives,) you will receive a small upgrade to your boots making them even more powerful. The only one we know for sure right now is the upgrade to Plated Steel Caps, which will give you a Max Health% shield after taking physical damage from an enemy champion. Alongside the unique passive, these boots will offer an extra 5-movement speed.

Season 15: Towers + Teleporting

Two other changes mentioned to be coming with Season 15 are a change to the two Nexus towers and a change to the summoner spell Teleport. Nexus towers will now respawn, meaning that having an exposed Nexus won’t leave you vulnerable to backdoors for the rest of the game, also the summoner spell Teleport is receiving another rework. Teleport will no longer instantly take you to your destination, instead you will visually travel across the map quickly. This change is designed to reduce the dominance of teleport in the metaverse.

Season 15: New Jungle Objective

A new permanent jungle objective is being added to Season 15 named Atakhan. Atakhan is a bloodthirsty demon who will spawn in midgame, and alongside him spawning, roses that can be destroyed for adaptive force will pop up around the map as well. Atakhan offers two buffs depending on the total kill count of the game, in low kill count games Atakhan will drop lots of roses for the winning team to collect, and in high kill count games, Atakhan will give the team that defeats him a temporary revive passive.
