North Carolina has fired head coach Mack Brown. He was 113-78-1 in two stints at the school.
Alabama linebacker Deontae Lawson is out for the season with a leg injury. He suffered the injury against Oklahoma.
ECU is set to promote interim head coach Blake Harrell to the full-time role. He has gone 4-0 since being in charge.
Tulsa has fired head coach Kevin Wilson. He was 7-16 overall and 3-8 this season. Former NFL wide receiver Ryan Switzer is the interim coach.
