Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver has been suspended by the NFL for three games for violating the NFL’s COVID-19 protocols. Bucs safety Mike Edwards and free agent wide receiver John Franklin III are also suspended for three games for the same reason.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Thursday.
#Bucs WR Antonio Brown was determined to have misrepresented his vaccination status under the NFL-NFLPA COVID-19 Protocols. The review supported those allegations and found that Brown — and two others — violated protocols.

Brown’s former chef had previously accused Brown of presenting a fake vaccination card to the league and lying about his status. The Buccaneers had stated that everyone on the team was fully vaccinated prior to these suspensions.
The NFL has only stated that the three players “misrepresented” their vaccine status. Facts surrounding fake vaccination cards has not been confirmed. Stay tuned to TGH for more on this developing story.
