Hood, 28, has played in the NBA for six seasons with the last one and a half being with the Trail Blazers. Last season, Hood averaged 11 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. Hood started all 21 games of last season before tearing his Achilles.
If Hood is fully recovered from his Achilles tear, he could be in the starting lineup again, although the Blazers did acquire Robert Covington this offseason.
