Howard, 34, was a member of the NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers last season. The former number one overall pick averaged 7.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game off the bench for the Lakers. He has spent 16 seasons in the NBA, averaging 16.7 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
Getting center depth behind Joel Embiid was a priority for the 76ers this offseason. Howard will provide a solid backup for Embiid during his one year in Philly.
