In a press release, Riot Games announced that the new Dawnbringer Karma skin would have 100% of its proceeds going to their new Riot Social Impact Fund. This fund was started earlier in 2019 and “has already donated $4M on players’ behalf to promote equality in education, opportunity, and global citizenship.” Along with this during the first quarter of 2020 (January-March), players will be voting on what charitable causes the money will go towards.
This event will be going on from Dec. 12, 2019 to Jan 13, 2020. Along with the Karma skin are a few other items that will go towards the charity.

They will be choosing the nonprofits that fans can vote on later. Riot also guarantees that each one up for the money will receive a minimum of $10,000 USD. The voting process will be revealed along with other news in early 2020.
