The LCS is back for the Summer with some teams making a lot of changes and others sticking with their five from the Spring. Each of these teams will be duking it out to not only win an LCS Championship but also to get the chance to go to Worlds. Now that the final week and a Super Week no less is here, fans are going to wonder who will win and make playoffs? Here are the LCS Picks for Week 8 of the 2022 Summer Split.

Overall Pick Record: 49-26
Pick Record from LCS Week 7: 4-6
Dignitas vs. Team Liquid
After many weeks of criticism towards Team Liquid, the super squad has found a fun and successful playstyle. His name is Bwipo and he is here to shove Hoon down and help TL get what should be an easy dub to start off super week.
Evil Geniuses vs. Golden Guardians
Rumor has it that Ablazolive is coming back to the starting lineup. That said, it likely won’t be enough. Even with EG looking mortal for basically the first time all summer, they are still way ahead of anything Golden Guardians should be able to do.
FlyQuest vs. 100 Thieves
FlyQuest just cannot catch a break. They run into a 100 Thieves team that is absolutely on fire. Abbedagge is looking as strong as he has since joining the team a little over a year ago. Sorry to FlyQuest as their skid certainly does not end here.
TSM vs. CLG
The second hottest team in the LCS is CLG. Palafox has found himself while Contractz is playing as well as he ever has. This team is deadly and while TSM are looking stronger, it likely will not be enough to take down CLG.
Immortals vs. Cloud9
If there was ever a game that Cloud9 needed, it was this one. While they are essentially playing for seeding, they are also still trying to figure themselves out. It has been six weeks and this team has yet to hit the ceiling that many believe they have. Look for them to close out the game this time against Immortals and start to gain some traction heading into playoffs.
Team Liquid leading off two days in a row certainly sets the tone for the weekend. Golden Guardians do not seem to know what they want to be or do at the moment. TL will take advantage of this as Bjerg takes down his former protege.
This game should be an absolute banger and potentially a preview of a playoff series. Both of these teams will likely have their winning streaks continued coming into this game. Only one will come out with it still intact. When flipping the coin, 100T came out and top, and thus, they shall win this one.
Many will laugh but this will probably be a much closer game than fans realize. Last time Fudge picked on SOul and sent him to the shadow realm. This time Solo is not as easy to bully. It will likely come down to shutting down Berserker. That is very hard if he picks a champion that is a little more in the meta. Banking on the fact that he will, Cloud9 pull this one out.
It is over, it is finally over. FlyQuest’s long losing streak comes to a screeching hault as they secure playoffs and potentially knock Immortals out in this one. Toucouille and Josedeodo carry hard and remind Kenvi that he still has a lot to work on.
If Evil Geniuses were way ahead for the first place spot they may mess around or limit test this game. Because they are not, they slaughter Dignitas here in what could be an under 25 minute game.
CLG may not have much to play for but they do not seem to be a team that will take any game off. Immortals unfortunately will drop another game here and likely either miss playoffs or hope that they get a tiebreaker to play their way in.
After two easy games, Evil Geniuses will really have the chance to warmup for playoffs. Will Cloud9 expose them and specifically Impact or will EG learn how to play around people dive bombing their top laner? Find out in this banger. Spoiler, Evil Geniuses will regardless, but the storyline sounds fun.
While 100 Thieves will have likely locked a top two seed by this point, both them and TL will be fighting for a chance at being higher still. This game will likely be the game of the week, at least for those that are scheduled. If Abbedagge and FBI weren’t just scorching hot right now this would be a bit more of a toss-up but look for them to be the deciding factor in a 100 Thieves win here.
This may end up being the only matchup that does not end up mattering. That said either or both teams could still be in the hunt for eighth place if they were to find a win in the first two games of the weekend. Ablazeolive coming back certainly does not help DIG and with River and Licorice hitting their weakest point, GGS take this one handily.
This will be another battle that could determine the top six. TSM have put themselves into a position where they could push into the top six. They will have needed FlyQuest to go at least 1-1 to this point and TSM would have to be 2-0. That said, TSM are just not up to par with FlyQuest as they live up to their gate guardian title and find themselves in the double elimination bracket.
