The start of the 2021 LCS season is right around the corner, and there are plenty of new tournaments for the brand new year. Kicking off the year is the LCS Lock In Tournament. The preseason tournament splits the LCS into two groups to battle it out in a group stage, with the the top teams moving on to the elimination portion of the tournament. On Friday January 8, the groups for the Lock In Tournament were drawn.

- Team SoloMid
- Team Liquid
- 100 Thieves
- Counter Logic Gaming
- Golden Guardians
Group B
- Flyquest
- Cloud9
- Dignitas
- Evil Geniuses
- Immortals
With the groups set, the teams can get playing on January 15. Be sure to tune into LoL Esports to catch all of the action.
