According to the sources of Jacob Wolf, TSM have found their replacement for Bjergsen by bringing in PowerOfEvil. The details of the deal are not currently known. This will be PowerOfEvil’s fourth LCS team in as many years.
Sources: @PowerOfEvilLoL notified @TSM Tuesday that he will sign with the team as their new mid laner at the opening of the League of Legends Free Agency window on Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. ET.
PowerOfEvil chose TSM over @EvilGeniuses, who have been aggressive in the mid lane market.

The 23-year-old will be filling in one of the biggest holes not only on TSM but also the LCS. With the retirement of Bjergsen and his assertion to the head coaching position, the discussion around TSM’s new mid laner has been the talk of the offseason. Many wondered if the team might give their academy laner Evolved a chance but it seems as though they do not believe he is ready yet with this move.
PowerOfEvil has been pushing his way into the conversation as one of the best mids not only in the LCS but in the west. This saw him finishing tied for third on the all-pro team but more importantly, he played well at Worlds yet again in 2020. This may be what helped to push TSM towards bringing him in as the team struggled internationally. It will be interesting to see the dynamic between him and Bjergsen as not long ago they shared the stage as opponents.
The discussion around Perkz was also been one that had seen TSM as a possible suitor. Once the news came out that he was likely heading to C9, it seems as though TSM were quick to bring in arguably their next best option. While this fills one of the three, potentially four missing pieces for TSM, it will be interesting to see who they bring in next as they look to set themselves up for another title run with this move.
