After an explosive 2019, 100 Thieves hopes to continue their success with their first big announcement of the new year.
100 Thieves’ First 2020 Release
Professional Esports organization 100 Thieves released photos of their first three jerseys of 2020. Jersey styles included a primary red, a secondary white and an alternate black. 100 Thieves’ LCS, Fortnite and CS:GO teams are some of the organization’s groups that will be sporting them.
Jersey History in the LCS
During 2018, 100 Thieves famously wore a baseball style jersey instead of the normal T-shirt style. In 2019, alterations made to comply with new LCS rules had the new jersey in a T-shirt style. While the company sold the unchanged versions throughout the year, they were not suitable on-stage.
There is no word on the ruling for the 2020 apparel, but if everything follows normal procedure, the LCS team in 2020 will be sporting an LCS-appropriate T-shirt style jersey come the start of the season.
The Apparel Department
A collection of photos taken for the release of these jerseys was shot by Ryan Hahn, film producer of HPLA. It features 100 Thieves’ athletes and entertainers alike such as Brandon “Avalanche” Thomas, member of content group “The Mob” and Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas, a member of 100 Thieves’ CS:GO roster.
This release is one of the first projects at 100 Thieves to be led by Doug Barber, the new VP of Brand & Apparel. Barber, who joined the organization from Reigning Champ, is hoping for more success as he begins the new position. Doug’s task; to elevate the brand’s jerseys and lifestyle work.
Furthermore, for those looking to purchase these jerseys, the primary and secondary versions will be available for sale today, January 18, at 12:00 PM PST/ 3:00 PM EST at 100Thieves.com. Even when not available, 100T has made it known to turn to their partner StockX as another option. Fans can expect more colorways and more exclusive drops throughout the year.
