The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2024 Salute to Veterans Bowl.
South Alabama Jaguars Draft Prospects
Jamaal Pritchett, WR
Pritchett started his college career at Tuskegee. He transferred to South Alabama in 2022. In 2022, he didn’t play much, but really broke out in 2023 with 57 receptions for 883 yards and eight touchdowns. This season, he caught 91 passes for 1,127 yards and nine touchdowns.
He is a smaller receiver who stands at 5-foot-8 and 175 pounds. His size limits his ability as a blocker and his catch radius. His production and big plays are worth a lot. He still has one season of eligibility left and could return to school.
Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent
Jaden Voisin, S
Voisin started his college career in 2019. He suffered injuries during his career, but started to make a real impact in 2022. He has started since 2022, giving him three full years of experience. This season, he has registered 74 total tackles, five interceptions and five passes defended.
While he stands at just 5-foot-10, Voisin is strong for his size at 212 pounds. He has shown solid ball skills during his college career and tackling ability. Voisin is an older prospect, which could end up hurting his value in the draft.
Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent
Western Michigan Broncos Draft Prospects
Bilhal Kone, CB
Kone started playing college football for Indiana State at the FCS level. He transferred to Western Michigan for the 2023 season. Kone had eight passes defended and one interception in 2023 and then replicated that production in 2024.
At 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, Kone has good height, but could fill out his frame a bit more. He has shown good ball skills at the college level, which could suit him well for the NFL. Kone has college eligibility remaining and could elect to return to school for another year.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Jacob Gideon, IOL
Gideon started his college career at Western Michigan in 2019. He didn’t play his first two seasons on campus, but then entered the starting lineup in 2021. For his play in 2024, Gideon was named a First Team All-MAC player.
At 6-foot-2 and 295 pounds, Gideon is a smaller prospect for the position, which will limit his opportunities. He is also an older prospect, but that afforded him the ability to get plenty of reps at the college level.
Projected Draft Range: Undrafted Free Agent
Other Draft Prospects: S Tate Hallock (UFA), LB Donald Willis (UFA)
