With Justin Roiland’s most anticipated title, launching soon with less than a week left, there’s one question that can’t help but be asked. What is the High On Life playtime when it launches on December 13?
Playtime
According to Studio Director at Squanch Games Mike Fridley, the “main story” will take gamers around 10-12 hours to complete. For completionists out there it will take 20-25 hours after completing all the side quests and collectibles. Overall High on Life can be considered a fairly short game.
The Story
On December 13, players will take the place of a space bounty. Not just any space bounty hunter, a bounty hunter with an arsenal of talking guns. Each of the guns has not only its own playstyle but also its own personality as well. An alien cartel comes to Earth to get high off of humanity. Our silent protagonist will be going up against the nefarious Garmantuous and his band of misfits. It’s up to them to pick them all off one by one. If gamers like the kind of humor from Rick And Morty it’s best to assume that High On Life won’t fail to deliver laughs either. Humor like this can also be related to Justin Roland’s other title Trover Saves the Universe.
The Price
High On Life will launch for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows, and will be available with Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass beginning on day one. High on Life download size will be at least 45GB at launch and will cost $59.99 for non-gamepass subscribers.
