The 2024-25 NFL season has been extremely entertaining! The fantasy landscape has already changed since the preseason due to breakout players and major injuries across the league. Bye weeks are starting to take place. This means that quarterbacks like Trey McBride and Cade Otton will be out this week. On top of that injuries have started to mount up at this point of the season. It is always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. Here are the fantasy football week 11 tight end rankings.
[Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to Injured Reserve List]
[Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week]
Must Start- a player who is in your lineup regardless of the matchup or most circumstances. They Will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and in most weeks.
Starting TE1- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a solid floor.
TD Dependent Starter- a player who may not be a lock to start for a team every week, but will start more times than not because of depth at the position. Their production is based on whether they can get in the end zone or not. It can be the difference between a top 10 performance or a top 25 performance
Deep League Starter- a player whose ceiling isn’t high but should put up enough production to be started in deep leagues. When a player like this is started it is because their production though it will likely be low, will be better than a few options.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

TE2 George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
George Kittle was limited in practice on Thursday with a hamstring injury. It is unclear if this injury could cause him to miss time. If Kittle misses Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks Eric Saubert would start at tight end for the San Francisco 49ers.
TE11 Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
Dalton Kincaid missed practice on Thursday with a knee injury. This doesn’t bode well for Kincaid being available this weekend. If Kincaid misses Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs Dawson Knox becomes TE22 between Will Dissly and AJ Barner.
TE28 Josh Oliver, Minnesota Vikings
Josh Oliver was limited on Thursday with both wrist and hand injuries. If Oliver misses Week 11 against the Tenessee Titans Johnny Mundt will be the backup tight end to T.J. Hockenson.
Sam. LaPorta, Detroit Lions
Sam LaPorta suffered an AC joint sprain last week against the Houston Texans. He is expected to miss some time because of the injury. While LaPorta is out Brock Wright will start at tight end for the Lions.
Noah Fant, Seattle Seahawks
Noah Fant has missed the Seattle Seahawks’ last game in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams with a groin injury. He is not expected to play this upcoming week. While Fant is out AJ Barner will continue to start at tight end for the Seahawks.
Erick All Jr. Cincinnati Bengals
Erick All Jr. was put on Injured Reserve after tearing his ACL. This will end All Jr.’s season. He showed promise during his rookie season and could see an expanded role when he returns from the injury.
