The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom release date was yet again showcased in the latest Nintendo Direct as a trailer. Within that trailer was some gameplay footage and the announcement of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in different editions.

Currently, the title is available for pre-order via the Nintendo E-shop. The base game however is priced at $69.99. For those who aren’t familiar with Nintendo titles, that is a $10 upcharge for traditional first-party Nintendo games.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition will release on launch day priced at $129.99. This Collectors Edition will include a physical version of the game, an art book with concept art, a steel bookcase, an Iconart poster, and four pins. Additionally, there will be a new amiibo figure of Link available for purchase at the launch of the title.
The original Breath Of The Wild sold over 25 million copies and had various expansion packs that came with two DLCs. The Master Trials DLC, and The Champion’s Ballad DLC. The first game was considered such a success a spin-off game titled Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity was released in 2020.
This game also came with its own DLC and expansion packs. Guardian of Remembrance and Pulse of the Ancients. It’s fair to say this is one of Nintendo’s most anticipated games at the moment.
