The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is the long-awaited sequel to Breath of the Wild. It was the first truly open-world game in the Legend of Zelda series and it was met with enough accolades to satisfy most developers for a lifetime. Instead, they are continuing the series and following up on what many already felt was an epic adventure. That being said, the price may have been leaked and people are starting to talk. The Legend of Zelda games felt like the perfect way to experience an open-world game that was not too big. That being said, Breath of the Wild was a very big map and had a lot of different locations, new enemies and familiar locations from previous games. A lot of the previously known aspects of The Legend of Zelda were reworked in some ways. That being said, the game was still filled with plenty of fun and nostalgic moments.
Many fans are hoping that this will be the major Nintendo Switch game of the year and truthfully, a game that is in contention for Game of the Year overall.
With such high expectations and a relatively quick turnaround time, Tears of the Kingdom will not be a game that is given much wiggle room. People will either love it or be quick to criticize the beloved franchise.
That is why some people are a little upset about The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Cost. A potential leak shows that the game may be one of the first for Nintendo with a more modern pricing at $70. Here is a picture from Nintendopal.com shown below.
This was apparently on the Nintendo Store and may be lining up with more information coming about the game on a Nintendo Direct that is only a few hours after this leak. It will be interesting to see if this ends up being true and why Nintendo decided to up their prices.
