Storm Connections is fraught with flaws. To name just a few, the game lacks online lobbies, making friend matches incredibly difficult to set up. In addition, the online for Xbox simply doesn’t work, while PC faces tons of crashes. Despite the criticism from the community, the developers prioritized changing the Storm Connections Voice Acting first rather than communicating anything regarding other issues.
Bandai Namco denied using AI for their voice acting — and are committed to correcting their poorly edited voice acting. This occurred after lash back from the Naruto voice actors. This annoyed the community, since there are so many other blatant issues to fix regarding the game.

Community Concerns
“Out of all the things to fix first…” One user posted.
“Address the f**king online while you’re at it. Absolutely conned as an Xbox user,” another player begged.
For those unaware, most Xbox users seem to be unable to access the online. The game mode simply does not work. The developers have simply released an unfinished product at full price, using the excuse of patch updates to correct their game.
Granted, any change is positive change — especially for the poor condition Storm Connections released in. The voice acting is undeniably just straight up bad in Storm Connections. They could have used the original voice overs from previous games, seeing as how the cut scenes are taken right out of them. But instead, they ruined the quality of performances by haphazardly editing the voice overs.
The English dub is supposedly the biggest issue. Japanese voice overs seem rather okay. Voice actors expressed their concerns when watching these “performances” in the game. They claim to not have performed them this way. Bandai Namco responded that it was a result of poor editing. There is no release date for the update to fix these voice over audio. There is no release date for the online lobby implementation features either.
